History…can you see it coming? from Brad Young on Vimeo.

Or check out the YouTube version here.

The video was fun to make, and put together in Adode After Effects. We put some controversial ideas in there but at the same time, based on reality (hey, for a while Adolf Hitler was Germany’s ‘saviour’).

Hope you like it - please post comments and rating at Vimeo and YouTube.

Working on a follow up film for Nostradamical

I’m currently designing a follow up promo movie for Nostradamical.com. The first video was based around 100 years of technology predictions with the idea that if you could have predicted what was going to happen next in the tech world you would of course use Nostradamical.com!

The next movie is more ambitious and based around political events of the last century, with some fun stuff in there around Bill Clinton, The Space Race, etc. I’ll post all the links to the included picks when done. Meanwhile check out the existing video here:

Isn’t technology great?

Hi folks, after getting frustrated with having various social networking accounts and media creations spread across the web I’ve setup a new blog at http://www.whatbraddidnext.com/ to pull together some of the photography, video, web development and idea mongering I’ve been doing over the last few years.

I’ve used my Friendfeed to pull together feeds from my YouTube page, my Delicious page, my Flickr page, my Facebook profile, my LinkedIn profile, my Digg profile and of course my latest project at Nostradamical.com and the Nostradamical Blog.

I’ve also added in my Twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/WhatBradDidNext.

Lastly used the wonderful Yahoo Pipes to tie together some feeds and filter to avoid an endless Twitter - Friendfeed loop. Love it.

So, here it is, a real time status based blog. Hope you enjoy it.

PS. I am also planning to tie in my Blip.fm profile for real time playlist updates. Don’t you just love RSS?
